"Much Ado About Nuttin'" And "Brie 'Em To Their Knees" Buttons Pulled For Remaining PSU Football Games
Citizens Bank will not distribute its free game-day buttons for the remainder of the Penn State football season, according to the Patriot-News, for fear that the printed slogans "could be misconstrued in light of the sex abuse scandal on campus."
The company would have handed out "Much Ado About Nuttin'" buttons for this weekend's game at Ohio State, while the Wisconsin game on Nov. 26 would have gotten the "Brie 'em to Their Knees" treatment. This was certainly a wise choice on the bank's part, but we can't help but notice that the "Hoo's Sorry Now" pin from the Oct. 1 Indiana game is still rather pertinent.
