My 3-Year-Old Son Has Sports Takes
Today was Bring Your Child To Work Day. I brought my big little dude Cameron to the office, and he consented to a sit-down interview, on the condition that he not actually have to sit down on his own. I even managed to hold his attention for more than two minutes.
In fairness, Cam’s been able to identify all of the NFL helmets before; he just hasn’t been asked in a while. He probably would have gotten all of the teams correct had I not been too dumb to find his mini helmets last night, when he could have crammed. Instead he got ambushed in front of a camera. Cam successfully identified his mommy’s and my father-in-law’s favorite team, but he wanted out as soon as he saw the Houston Texans’ helmet, which can happen to anyone. I made it up to him by feeding him gummy treats. Cam fell asleep not long after we got back on the subway, but not before he fired off his first blog. A long day in the blog mines for a big little dude.
