Nebraska Quarterback Taylor Martinez Engineered One Of The Most Outstanding Plays This College Football Season
This year's Big Ten championship game is lacking some shine, what with the best team in the conference going undefeated but being ineligible and another, Penn State, being out of the running for the next several years. But that doesn't mean it's not worth watching, as Nebraska angles to seize its first championship in a new conference while Wisconsin tries to repeat (or three-peat, if you're into the retroactive title-vacation).
Here's Huskers QB Taylor Martinez running about 150 yards in one play, nearly going coast to coast and sideline to sideline in an amazing run that somehow didn't cause Gus Johnson's head to explode in a torrential sportsgasm. Even with the touchdown, Nebraska's staring at a 21-10 deficit heading into the second quarter—but if they lose, they can hang their heads on contributing one of college football's best plays of the season.
