NFL Wildcard Weekend Open Thread: Atlanta Falcons At New York Giants
Day two of the best weekend ever kicks off from New Jersey with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman guiding us through all the things they're not so sure wouldn't, shouldn't, couldn't or didn't happen.
Atlanta at New York Giants (FOX): We've previewed the battle of the faces for you already and, if you are in to that sort of thing, here's a bit of trolling for you Falcons fans. It's a shame, then, that it's almost impossible to troll the Giants and the classic " let our play do the talking" philosophy.
The Giants, with second year standout Jason Pierre-Paul and a finally healthy Justin Tuck, look to catch lightning in a bottle as they did in 2007 by sacking every quarterback in sight as often as possible. Pair that with a legitimately explosive offense featuring deep threat Hakeem Nicks and everything else threat Victor Cruz, and Brandon Jacobs can just stick to running his mouth rather than the football.
