NHL Apologizes For Those Emails You Received From An Obviously Fake Gary Bettman
credits: [object Object] | source: Getty Images The NHL issued an alert today that the league would be investigating emails received by numerous people purportedly from commissioner Gary Bettman “requesting a phone call or other calls to action,” claiming the emails were being sent from fake accounts:
The emails, which were sent from the Google accounts [email protected] and [email protected] and not anything resembling nhl.com, were... not very convincing.
Why the NHL felt it needed to respond to this, we have no idea.
