NHL Lockout Update
This image was lost some time after publication. Yep, there's as much to report as you'd think: Just a bunch of guys with goofy names picking their noses.
According to the indispensable Eklund's Hockey Rumors, the two sides continue to make "significant" progress on a new deal, which might be important, we're not sure, we're completely lost about what part of the NHL season we're in right now anyway. These Eklund updates confuse us, because they always include phrases like "This is a lot of time to spend with Arturs Irbe if you aren't making progress," which don't make much sense to anyone without a preponderance of vowels in their name. Anyway, it could be worse, one supposes: The lockout could last another 20 years.
