Mandatory Credit: Geoff Burke-Imagn Images Australia's Nick Kyrgios will make a rare appearance in an ATP Tour match when he takes the court as a wild-card entry in the Brisbane International next month.
Kyrgios is set to play Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus, the defending U.S. Open women's champion, in an exhibition match next Sunday at Dubai.
Ankle and knee injuries have limited Kyrgios in recent years, including just five singles matches in 2025. He has worked as an analyst for ESPN and the BBC in the interim.
Kyrgios is expected to receive a wild-card entry into January's Australian Open. His only grand slam appearance since 2022 was a first-round loss at the Australian Open to open 2025.
A Wimbledon finalist in 2022, Kyrgios' world ranking has plummeted to No. 673. A winner of seven career ATP Tour titles with 206 match victories, Kyrgios was ranked as high as No. 13 in October of 2016.
