No. 10 TCU holds off No. 23 Utah to move to 7-0 in Big 12

Mandatory Credit: Chris Jones-Imagn Images Hailey Van Lith scored 24 points, Sedona Prince added an efficient 23 points and four assists and No. 10 TCU stayed perfect in Big 12 play by beating visiting No. 23 Utah 81-73 on Friday night in Fort Worth, Texas.
TCU (19-1, 7-0) won its 10th game in a row, its only loss coming in early December to South Carolina, currently the No. 2 team in the country.
The Horned Frogs never trailed after 2-0 and built up a 21-point halftime lead. Utah (13-5, 4-3) briefly cut its deficit to single digits during the third quarter and drew as close as five in the final minute before Van Lith, Prince, Aaliyah Roberson and Donovyn Hunter put it away at the foul line.
Prince was 9-of-14 shooting from the floor, better than 50 percent for the fifth straight game. Madison Conner had 13 points and six assists and Hunter scored 10 for TCU.
Gianna Kneepkens scored a game-high 26 points and made three of her five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter for the Utes. She led Utah's comeback bid with 17 points in the final frame. Maty Wilke added 14 points and Reese Ross scored 11.
