Cincinnati (5-0) also received 14 points and five rebounds from Connor Hickman, 14 points, seven assists and two steals from Jizzle James, and 12 points from Simas Lukosius. The Bearcats have had at least four double-digit scorers in each of their first five games.

It was the ninth straight win for Cincinnati over an opponent from the ACC, a streak that began at the 2009 Maui Invitational. The Bearcats improved to 10-4 all-time against Georgia Tech.
Cincinnati jumped out to a 10-2 and, aided by seven Georgia Tech turnovers, upped the lead to 19-9 at 11:29. The Bearcats then used a 10-0 run - punctuated by Tyler Betsey's 3-pointer - that extended the lead to 16 points a 33-17.
Georgia Tech twice got the lead down to 11 points, but the Bearcats scored the final five points of the half and finished with a 3-point by Lukosius to lead 45-29 at the break.
Cincinnati scored 28 points in the paint and shot 60 percent (18-for-30) in the first half.
The Bearcats continued to build their lead in the second half and went up by 20 when Lukosius hit a 3-pointer at 13:49 to make it 56-36. Georgia Tech never got closer than 14 points.
Cincinnati continued its defensive success against the 3-point shot. They entered the game allowing 26.2 percent and Georgia Tech hit just 5 of 20 (25 percent).
