No. 18 Colorado crushes Oregon in Pac-12 tourney opener

Formann did most of her damage from outside, connecting on 5 of 6 3-pointers. Tameiya Sadler chipped in 11 points, Quay Miller added 10 and Jaylyn Sherrod finished with nine to go along with eight assists for the Buffaloes (22-8).
Colorado's defense took care of the rest, holding the Ducks (11-21) to 18.9 percent shooting overall (10 of 53). Oregon went just 1-for-13 (7.7 percent) from 3-point range.
Grace VanSlooten paced the Ducks with nine points and five rebounds. Oregon didn't have a scorer reach double figures.
The Buffaloes opened the game on a 13-2 run, then used a 13-0 burst to close the first quarter. They were up by at least 17 the rest of the way, with the lead topping out at 49.
