North Carolina G Seth Trimble enters transfer portal

Trimble spent two seasons with the Tar Heels was a key defensive player for North Carolina (29-8), which lost in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament to Alabama.
"I sit with tears of joy, thankful for the blessings and memories this university has given me," Trimble said on social media. "It's been a fun ride here. ...
"I've made the decision to enter the transfer portal as I feel this is the best step for me moving forward. Tar Heel Family, I will love you for the rest of my life."
Trimble averaged 5.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 35 games (one start) this season.
In his two seasons with the Tar Heels, he had averages of 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 68 games (three starts).
