Oklahoma State emerges with high-scoring win over South Florida

Reserves Anthony Roy and Christian Coleman each scored 15 points for the Cowboys (5-0). Parsa Fallah chipped in 14 points, and Kanye Clary contributed 12 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
CJ Brown pace the Bulls (3-2) with 22 points and 10 assists. Wes Enis and Joseph Pinion each tallied 20 points, with Pinion connecting on 6 of 11 3-point attempts. Isaiah Jones tallied 14 points.
Miller opened the game on a personal 7-0 run consisting of a 3-pointer, a dunk and a jumper, sparking the Cowboys' 12-3 beginning outburst.
The Bulls gradually rallied. A deep 3-pointer from the wing by Pinion was part of a 7-0 South Florida run that cut the deficit to 18-16 with 11:45 to play in the first half.
South Florida took its first lead at 24-23 when Jones hit the second of back-to-back treys. A 16-2 run advanced the Bulls' lead to 34-25 when Enis hit a 3-pointer as the trailer on a fastbreak with 6:55 to go in the first half.
The Cowboys closed the first half as they started it: on a scoring spree. A 13-1 rally was punctuated by Coleman's hard drive through the lane that resulted in a three-point play, and Oklahoma State trailed just 45-44 at halftime.
There were seven lead changes early in the second half, but Fallah put Oklahoma State on top for good on a hoop with 16:54 to go.
Miller drained a 3-pointer to give the Cowboys a 74-63 lead, capping a 10-0 run. Pinion hit threes on consecutive possessions as USF got within 90-87 with 5:18 to play.
Roy's layup put Oklahoma State up 97-91 with 1:45 to play, and four subsequently Cowboys free throws boosted the margin to 10. South Florida went more than four minutes without a basket until Josh Omojafo ended the game's scoring with a hoop in the final seconds.
