Mullins delivered the tiebreaking single Wednesday and followed up his clutch hit by lining a homer into the right field seats for a 3-0 lead off New York rookie right-hander Luis Gil (9-2).
Ryan Mountcastle added a bases-clearing double in Baltimore's big inning and had an RBI single in the ninth. Ryan O'Hearn contributed a run-scoring double and also drove in four runs for the O's, who set season highs for runs and hits (19).

Austin Hays padded the lead with a two-run homer in the seventh.
