Browns receiver Josh Gordon, already facing a season-long suspension, was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of DWI in Raleigh on Saturday. It turned out that his car was registered to Hairston. The only known connection between the two was mysterious Triangle-area felon "Fats" Thomas, who bailed out Gordon, and who a year ago rented two cars that were used by Hairston to rack up speeding and parking tickets , violations that cost Hairston his college eligibility.
But don't look into all that shady stuff. Hairston and Gordon met in a grocery store and decided to swap cars for the night.
