P.K. Subban Stops By Street Hockey Game, Punks Little Goalie
Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban crashed a street hockey game in Montreal Sunday and took a few shots. Overlook the fact that Subban’s wearing sandals with jeans, and instead focus on him playing against an overmatched kid in pads.
To be fair, 8-year-old goalie Jack Fraser put up an admirable effort against the competition. Per CBC, the meeting was unplanned:
Jack’s father Aaron Fraser said he didn’t believe it when he first heard Subban was on the street. He’s still not sure what prompted the visit.
“I was in my house and my oldest son came running over and said, ‘You have to come, P.K.’s on the street,” he said.
“I didn’t believe him at first, and I actually expected to get pelted with water balloons.”
Fraser said a black SUV pulled up and Subban and a friend got out and he told everyone, “let’s play some street hockey.”
Unrelated, but amusing: Subban politely rejected a swig from a bottle of Grey Goose this weekend. He’s probably not a teetotaler, and instead just a famous person who doesn’t accept random drinks from strangers, but the clip was funny:
