Packers Lineman Josh Sitton Is More Upset With Pete Carroll And Golden Tate Than He Is The Replacement Officials
Green Bay Packers guard Josh Sitton, whose angry postgame tweets made him an Internet superstar (and quadrupled his follower count overnight), appeared on The Jim Rome Show today and remarked that while replacement officials "have no idea what they're doing" and stated he'd go on strike if it was possible, he considers Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and receiver Golden Tate to be the real "goats" of last night's debacle in Seattle.
Calling it a good call, and Golden Tate saying he caught it and there was no push in the back, I mean, be a man. [...] Admit that it was a bullcrap call, stand up and have some integrity. How are you going to face your frickin' team when they know it's bullcrap. I think Golden Tate and Pete Carroll are completely full of crap.
It's unclear if Sitton will face any disciplinary action for his words, though it seems fans may be willing to help cover Packers players' fines.
