Pacman Jones Got Arrested Again
Which means it must be, what, Monday?
Pacman Jones turns 30 next Monday. He had tweeted the photo you see above around 10 p.m. yesterday. From the looks of it, Jones and Bengals safety Reggie Nelson—who turned 30 on Saturday—celebrated their birthdays together last night.
Jones's latest scrape with Johnny Law then came at 2:30 this morning, when he was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct after a vehicle he was a passenger in was pulled over by the Ohio State Patrol. (TMZ says Jones mouthed off to the cops.) The woman driving the vehicle was allegedly doing 60 in a 45 zone and refused a field sobriety test. She was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, which is also a misdemeanor. Both Jones and the woman are due to appear in court on Friday.
Keeping tabs on Jones's legal troubles can be hard work, but the Cincinnati Enquirer says this is "at least" his eighth run-in with the law since entering the NFL, and fourth since he joined the Bengals in 2010. Jones is also due in court Oct. 7 to face an assault charge for allegedly hitting a woman outside a Cincinnati bar. He has pleaded not guilty.
