While tonight's Gold Cup match at the Rose Bowl between Panama and Mexico didn't produce large-scale riots like the recent exhibition in Las Vegas between Liga MX sides Club America and Chivas del Guadalajara, the end result was the same: Idiots and garbage on the field.

For sure, Mexican fans have reason to be upset; the national team has put in some pretty weak performances of late, especially in CONCACAF competition. But Panama's win isn't a huge shocker, given most of the Mexican A-team is resting after Confederations Cup action concluded in Brazil. Still, though, that thing with the garbage?
