Paul George Will Make His Season Debut Sunday
When Paul George’s leg got caught under a basket stanchion and broke in a heinous accident back in August, it was expected that he would miss the entire NBA season. But his leg was supposedly fully healed by March 1st, and he’s been participating in Pacers practices for the past month.
Today he announced on Instagram that he will resurrect his career and play his first game of the season on Easter Sunday, against the Heat. The text that accompanied the photo reads “Game shoes! Time to get some burn Sunday night!!! Can’t wait!!!”
The Pacers announced that George, Frank Vogel, and the team doctor will address the media at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. We will bring you any noteworthy updates from that press conference.
