Peter Crouch’s Mum And Dad Attacked By Hungry Baboons
Gangly striker Peter Crouch's parents have been left ‘petrified' after a gang of wild baboons broke into their hotel room at the Sun City resort near England's training camp in Rustenburg.
Making the schoolboy error of forgetting to lock their room window before they left, Bruce and Jayne Crouch returned from a trip out to find the hungry monkeys on a mission to liberate some tasty snacks.
According to Crouch's model girlfriend Abbey Clancy:
"They were in their hotel room when these three baboons jumped in, walked straight through the bedroom into the lounge to the fruit bowl, took what they wanted and walked out. It's like they knew where the fruit was."
The Sun report Rio Ferdinand's Mr. 10%, super-agent [and enemy of football,] Pini Zahavi has also had a scare, after waking up to find baboons nicking Pringles from his mini-bar; although, in news that will disappoint most fans, they didn't scratch his face off before they left.
