Phil Mickelson Hits Into Hospitality Area For Second Day In A Row
Phil Mickelson hit a shot into the hospitality area of the par-4 fifth hole at The Barclay's yesterday and he did it again today. Both times he actually hit a nearby cart path and the ball bounced up into the tent area. Both times he was able to hit it off the astroturfed section without taking a drop.
His shot yesterday was long and missed the green but today, with experience at his side, he hit a much more difficult shot over the tent and landed it on the green. He very nearly drained his birdie putt, too, but had to settle for par when it just missed.
