Mandatory Credit: Denis Poroy-Imagn Images Philadelphia right fielder Brandon Marsh left the Phillies' Tuesday road game against the San Diego Padres in the fourth inning due to an apparent hand injury.
Marsh appeared to sustain the injury diving back into first base while being picked off by catcher Freddy Fermin to end the top of the first. Ty France's tag appeared to bend Marsh's fingers backward.
Marsh stayed in the game for his second at-bat in the third inning, singling to help set up a run that extended Philadelphia's lead to 4-0. However, he was replaced defensively by Adolis Garcia after the top of the fourth.
Marsh singled in both of his at-bats on Tuesday, improving his average to a team-high .326 with five homers and 24 RBIs.
