Phillies place RHP Jonathan Bowlan on 15-day IL

As a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Seth Johnson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Bowlan, 26, has a 3.86 ERA in seven appearances spanning seven innings of relief this season, his first with Philadelphia. He has a career 2-4 record and 4.26 ERA over 44 appearances (three starts) with the Kansas City Royals (2023-25) and Phillies.
Johnson, 27, has a 9.00 ERA over 11 appearances (one start) and 15 innings for the Phillies the last two seasons.
