Pile Of Snow Makes Fantastic Save On Kings' Potential Game-Tying Goal
The first star of Game 4 has to go to the pile of snow in Henrik Lundqvist's net. It pulled off the Rangers' most crucial save.
With a little over a minute left in the game, Kings defenceman Alec Martinez's shot slipped between Lundqvist's legs, and would have tied the game if it wasn't for the snow in front of the goal. The puck stopped juuust short of crossing the line, and New York's Derek Stepan was able to prevent it from going in.
The bizarre play preserved the Rangers' 2-1 lead and allowed them to take Game 4. New York's still down 3-1 in the series, so they'll need a lot more help.
Look for the pile of snow to receive a big contract in free agency from the Islanders.
