Quinton Byfield, Kings rally to beat Oilers in OT

Vasquez-Imagn Images Quinton Byfield scored twice, including the overtime winner, and had an assist in a 4-3 win for the Los Angeles Kings against the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
Byfield went bar down far side from the left circle at 3:19 of overtime.
Warren Foegele had a goal and two assists, Jordan Spence had two assists, and Darcy Kuemper made 24 saves for the Kings, who improved to 11-2-1 at home.
Kasperi Kapanen, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Viktor Arvidsson scored for the Oilers, who lost for just the fourth time in their past 16 games (12-3-1). Stuart Skinner made 25 saves.
Tanner Jeannot forced the tiebreaker for Los Angeles at 2:32 of the third period, redirecting a feed from Spence on the doorstep stick side on Skinner to tie it 3-3.
Edmonton scored twice on its first four shots of the second period to take the lead.
Nugent-Hopkins connected 12 seconds into the power play to tie it 2-2 at 3:20 of the second period, taking a pass from Connor McDavid in the slot and quickly firing it blocker side on Kuemper.
The assist extended McDavid's point streak to 10 games (three goals, 16 assists), marking the 16th such streak of his NHL career.
Arvidsson put the visitors ahead 3-2 at 11:59. Leon Draisaitl got his stick in the way of Kings defenseman Vladislav Gavrikov's pass attempt, sending it quickly to Vasily Podkolzin, who then dished a short feed to Arvidsson, who beat Kuemper under the bar from the slot.
Kapanen gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead at 9:43 of the first period, pushing the rebound of a Connor Brown shot into the net from in front.
Byfield tied it 1-1 at 12:32 when he collected the puck in the right corner and took it below the circle before roofing a wrist shot short side over Skinner.
Foegele put Los Angeles ahead 2-1 at 17:35. Spence's centering pass missed Byfield in the slot, but Foegele got his stick on the loose puck to send it inside the right post.
