Racist Chelsea Fans Stop Black Man From Boarding Train, Chant At Him
The video below was shot at the Richelieu-Drouot station of the Paris Métro today, according to The Guardian, before Chelsea took on Paris Saint-Germain in a Champions League clash at the Parc Des Princes. You can see a black man attempt to board a car that has a bunch of singing Chelsea fans in it, only to have "Chelsea! Chelsea! Chelsea!" chanted in his face, and he is physically shoved out of the car multiple times.
But the kicker? The douche nozzles then sing "We're racist, we're racist, we're racist, and that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it" in the tune of a common soccer chant. (You may recognize it, for instance, from the American Outlaws's "We Love Ya" chant.) Chelsea is far from the only soccer club to have had big problems with racism—though theirs were particularly bad—but they have struggled more than others to completely stamp it out, with some incident or another involving the London club's fans seeming to pop off every season. Let's hope this is this is the last one this season, or ever.
