Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-Imagn Images The Los Angeles Rams will get one of their two starting guards back Sunday, after right guard Kevin Dotson was designated as available to play against the Tennessee Titans.
Dotson and starting left guard Steve Avila both departed last Sunday's season-opening victory over the Houston Texans with sprained ankles and had been ruled week-to-week following the game.
While Dotson was limited in practice Thursday, Avila has not practiced this week and is considered doubtful for Sunday, according to head coach Sean McVay.
Fellow offensive lineman Rob Havenstein has returned to practice this week as he recovers from his own ankle injury.
Also doubtful for Sunday is tight end Colby Parkinson, who came away with a shoulder injury Sunday.
Dotson, 28, is in his third season with the Rams after three with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has started in 61 of the 70 NFL games he has played in his career.
Avila, 25, is in his third season with the Rams, and has started all 28 games of his career.
