Mandatory Credit: Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images Toronto Raptors forward Collin Murray-Boyles was ruled out of Wednesday's game at the Sacramento Kings because of a left thumb contusion.
Murray-Boyles was injured on Sunday when Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic hit him on the wrist on a shot attempt in the third quarter.
The 20-year-old rookie had started the last nine games before missing Tuesday's contest at Golden State, a 145-127 Toronto victory. He scored in double figures in his last five outings, including 11 points before getting hurt and exiting the 110-93 loss to the Lakers.
Toronto selected Murray-Boyles with the ninth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft out of South Carolina.
He averages 7.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 21.5 minutes while shooting 53.6% from the field in 37 games (13 starts).
Guard Ja'Kobe Walter (hip), center Jakob Poeltl (back) and forward RJ Barrett (ankle) continue to be sidelined for the Raptors.
