Huntley, 26, spent the past four seasons as a backup to starter Lamar Jackson before signing a one-year, $1.29 million contract with the Cleveland Browns in March.
Cleveland released him on Thursday with three other quarterbacks on its roster. Baltimore has two-time NFL Most Valuable Player Jackson and veteran Josh Johnson on its 53-man roster, with Huntley and rookie Devin Leary, a sixth-round pick out of Kentucky, on the practice squad.
Huntley was named to the Pro Bowl in 2022 after completing 67 percent of his passes for 658 yards and two touchdowns with three interceptions in six games (four starts).
He has thrown for 1,957 yards with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions in 20 games (nine starts) with the Ravens. He signed with Baltimore in 2020 as an undrafted free agent out of Utah.
