Real-Life Wellington Silva Plays Soccer Like He's In A Video Game
Wellington Silva has been an intriguing prospect in the Arsenal system for years now, as fans tracked his growth, hoping the young Brazilian could one day turn into a stud. Well, he’s 23 years old now, and yet again out on loan—this time at Bolton in England’s second division—but holy shit if he isn’t one of the most exciting players to watch with the ball at his feet.
This is like one of those annoying guys you’ll sometimes run into when playing FIFA online, who is so obviously intent on nothing else than linking together as many skill moves as possible before smashing in a wondergoal or two for an impending Youtube highlight compilation, only it’s real life. And when pulled off in real life, this is the exact opposite of annoying.
Wellington probably won’t make it at Arsenal, but as long as he’s playing at a high enough level for cameras to record his insane moves, it’ll all work out.
