Red Sox Prospect Fractured Hand In Fight With Roommate

Red Sox pitching prospect Michael Kopech missed 50 games last year after testing positive for stimulants. It looks like he’s going to miss another chunk of games this season, as he fractured his hand during an altercation with his roommate.

WEEI was first to report the story, which has since been confirmed by Red Sox general manager Mike Hazen, who told reporters that what Kopech did was stupid and that he needs to “grow up.”

Now comes the fun part, when we all get to take bets on which member of the Boston media will write a scathing take on what this incident says about the team’s clubhouse culture.
