Reggie Evans Pulls Out Own Tooth, Grosses Out Ian Eagle And Jim Spanarkel
In the third quarter of Brooklyn's 105-96 win over Charlotte Saturday night, Reggie Evans's face ran into Michael Kidd-Gilchrest's head, jarring loose a tooth.
He then ran down the court, with either a severely-loose tooth or a completely-detached tooth floating around in his mouth, for the next possession. After inbounding the ball on the next play, he finally made his way toward the benches where referees (and Spanarkel and Eagle) finally caught on to what happened.
There was a lot of blood, but the best part is the reaction of both broadcasters. You can almost see their faces twisting with disgust as Reggie Evans quietly places his tooth on the table in front of them. Evans stayed in the game after an officials timeout.
