Report: Blue Jays Closer Roberto Osuna Charged With Assaulting A Woman 

According to The Athletic and Sportsnet, Toronto Blue Jays closer Roberto Osuna was arrested early Tuesday morning and charged with one count of assault on a woman.

The Athletic received confirmation of the arrest from Police Constable Jenifferjit Sidhu, who said further details would not be released in order to protect the identity of the alleged victim.

The 23-year-old Osuna has been with the Blue Jays his entire career, and saved 39 games for them last season. He is currently on a one-year, $5.3 million deal.
