Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving could miss the next two games due to a sprain in his left foot, ESPN reported Friday.

Irving, on crutches and wearing a walking boot earlier in the week, is expected to be ruled out for Sunday's game against the host Seattle Seahawks (3-1). He also is in jeopardy of sitting out the Week 6 game against the visiting San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 5.

Irving joined wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring), safety Christian Izien (undisclosed) and cornerbacks Jamel Dean (hip) and Benjamin Morrison (hamstring) in sitting out practice on Friday.

Rachaad White, Sean Tucker and undrafted rookie Josh Williams are expected to handle the rushing responsibilities on Sunday for Tampa Bay (3-1).

Irving gained 165 yards from scrimmage and had a 72-yard touchdown catch in Tampa's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week. The injury occurred in the first half when he was tackled by Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell.

Head coach Todd Bowles said on Wednesday that if Irving was "not out of the boot by Friday, more than likely he's not going to play."

Irving has 430 yards from scrimmage in 2025, seventh in the NFL.

White has 23 carries for 108 yards and one touchdown this season. He also has eight receptions for 34 yards.
