Report: Cal Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Fired Over Sexual Harassment Allegations

The Cal Golden Bears men’s basketball team has fired assistant coach Yann Hufnagel for violating the school’s anti-sexual harassment policy, according to the San Francisco Chronicle
The actual allegations against Hufnagel aren’t known, but in a statement the athletic department said he “has been relieved of his duties pending the outcome of the termination process.” Hufnagel had been an assistant for head coach Cuonzo Martin for two seasons.
Hufnagel called the accusation a “fruitless claim” today:
A four-seed, Cal plays Hawaii on March 18 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
