Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. has a Grade 2 right MCL sprain and will be re-evaluated in six weeks, ESPN reported on Sunday.

Jones sustained the injury during the Clippers' 146-115 loss against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. Ironically, he sustained the same injury -- on the same knee -- in a game versus the Celtics on Nov. 16.

Jones, 28, is averaging 10.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 17 games (13 starts) this season.

He is contributing 7.3 points and 3.3 boards in 514 career games (231 starts) with six teams.
