Report: Draymond Green Arrested For Assault

According to MLive.com, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was arrested for assault yesterday.

Green, a Michigan native, was reportedly arrested in East Lansing, Michigan. MLive reports that police would not confirm any other details about the arrest:

“The police department is not confirming any arrest with that name,” said Lt. Scott Wrigglesworth, the East Lansing police department Public Information Officer. “What I can confirm is that we did arrest a current NBA basketball player this weekend and he was arrested for assault. That’s all we’re confirming right now.”

Update (1:58 p.m.): ESPN’s Ethan Strauss received more details from the East Lansing police department, which described the incident as an “altercation between two guys.” Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that there was slapping involved:
