Report: John Fox Is The New Head Coach Of The Chicago Bears
Less than a week after mutually agreeing to part ways the Denver Broncos, John Fox has landed another head-coaching gig with the Chicago Bears. So sayeth Fox Sports' Jay Glazer:
It's wild to think that, just five days ago, Fox was coaching a stacked Denver Broncos team that many people thought had a good chance at making its second-straight Super Bowl appearance. Now he's inheriting an underachieving team that was plagued with internal drama throughout the season. His career record in Denver was 46-18! The NFL is a cruel business.
Still, the Bears aren't the worst landing spot. They sucked last year, but there's still plenty of talent on that team, and Fox is the kind of defensive-minded coach that can overhaul a squad that gave up 27 points per game this season.
