Mandatory Credit: Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images England's Laurie Canter intends to rejoin the LIV Golf League in 2026 despite earning his PGA Tour card, Sports Business Journal reported.
Canter, 36, competed on the Saudi-backed circuit during its first three seasons from 2022-24, both as a member of Cleeks GC and as a league reserve.
Competing mostly on the DP World Tour in 2025, he finished in the top 10 in the season-long standings to earn his card for the 2026 PGA Tour season.
Canter participated in seven PGA Tour tournaments in 2025, missing the cut at four of them and finishing T55 at the U.S. Open at Oakmont. He was eligible to compete in PGA Tour events since it had been more than year since his last LIV Golf appearance.
Canter has two wins on the DP World Tour, the European Open in 2024 and the Bahrain Championship in 2025.
It is not clear which LIV Golf team Canter might join. The 2026 season begins in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from Feb. 4-7.
