Report: LSU Student Barfed On Other Fans, Kicked Police, Had To Be Carried Out Of Stands
An LSU student allegedly threw up on other fans, kicked a police officer, and needed to be carried out of stands during Saturday’s football game, according to an affidavit of probable cause acquired by WAFB.
From WAFB’s report:
Just after 10 p.m., officers were called out to the stadium in reference to a complaint about an LSU student, Renuka Koritala, 20, vomiting on other students in North Section 227. When officers arrived, Koritala allegedly began to run away. When officers were finally able to catch her at a stairway, she kicked one of the officers in his right knee, causing him to fall.
A fan took video as officials escorted Koritala out of her seat:
The probable cause report says that once carried out of the stands, Koritala was able to wriggle free and again kicked an officer—the same officer she had kicked before.
The inmate list for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office’s states that Koritala was charged with battery of a police officer, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer. She was booked and released Sunday.
