Report: Muhammad Ali's Condition "Concerning" To Family
Photo: [object Object] The AP’s sources say that 74-year-old boxing legend Muhammad Ali is hospitalized for a respiratory issue, and that his condition is “concerning” to his family.
Both sources said they weren’t speaking on behalf of the family, but believed that the respiratory issue was being complicated by Ali’s Parkinson’s disease. They described this as potentially more serious than Ali’s previous hospitalizations.
Ali’s representative sent a statement yesterday acknowledging the hospitalization. It didn’t reveal much but described Ali as being in “fair condition”:
Heavyweight-boxing legend Muhammad Ali has been hospitalized and is being treated for a respiratory issue.
Ali, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, is being treated by his team of doctors and is in fair condition. A brief hospital stay is expected.
At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.
