Report: Pistons G Jaden Ivey has fractured fibula

Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey suffered a broken left fibula in a collision with the Orlando Magic's Cole Anthony, ESPN reported on Thursday.
Ivey was injured when Anthony fell into his plant leg as the two went after a loose ball with 10:07 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Pistons' 105-96 victory over the Magic on Wednesday. Ivey was writhing in pain on the floor following the play and was taken from the court on a stretcher.
Prior to the injury, Ivey recorded 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting from the floor and 5-for-6 from 3-point range in the game.
"It's tough on the whole group," teammate Cade Cunningham said after the game, per the Detroit Free Press. "To see him hurting like that is tough on us. He's built for it, he's going to shake back knowing him. He's going to work his tail off and he's going to be better than ever when he gets back. It's hard to see that, for sure."
Ivey is second on the team in scoring with a career-high17.6 points to go along with 4.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 30 games (all starts) this season. He is shooting 46.0 percent from the floor and 40.9 percent from 3-point range.
Ivey, 22, is averaging 16.1 points, 4.4 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 181 career games (164 starts) since being selected by the Pistons with the fifth overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft.
