Report: Robert Nkemdiche Fell From A 4th-Story Hotel Window In Atlanta (UPDATE)
Probable top-five NFL draft pick and Ole Miss star Robert Nkemdiche reportedly fell from the 4th floor of a building, and suffered “multiple cuts” according to Cody Chaffins of Fox 5 Sports:
If that’s the extent of his injuries, that’s amazing. It’s been a scary few months for the Nkemdiche brothers, as Robert’s brother Denzel spent some time in the ICU last month. We’ll update this post when more information becomes available.
Update (3:15 p.m.): Daniel Pauling of The Clarion-Ledger has more:
Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche fell from a hotel window last night but was conscious and breathing when officers responded to the incident and was in stable condition when taken to a local hospital, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
That much you could gather from the initial report, but then it starts to get strange:
The Atlanta Police Department added that police found a small amount of what was suspected to be marijuana in the hotel room. GI Squad and a Narcotics Unit responded to the scene with a Crime Scene Unit, according to a report released Sunday afternoon to The Clarion-Ledger.
“It appears that the victim broke the window and then walked approximately 15 feet and climbed over a wall and fell approximately 15 feet,” according to the report
