Report: Todd Haley Got Shoved And Fell At A Bar On New Year's Eve After The Steelers' Game [Update]
Photo: Joe Sargent/ [object Object] The Steelers said today that offensive coordinator Todd Haley was injured in “a fall” after the team’s New Year’s Eve 28-24 win over the Browns in Pittsburgh. It only took a couple hours for a slightly more honest version of that story to come out:
The Steelers have a bye week, so Todd will have a good amount of time to recover. We’ve called for comment with Pittsburgh police and will update if we hear back. Know anything about Haley’s night out? Drop a line to [email protected].
Update (5:58 p.m. ET): A Pittsburgh PD spokesperson told us Todd’s wife Christine was involved in a “minor scuffle” at Tequila Cowboy—a five-minute walk from the Steelers’ stadium—and Todd wasn’t injured.
It was not Todd Haley, but his wife Christine Haley.
Detail officers were summoned to Tequila Cowboy restaurant on North Shore Drive for a minor scuffle involving Haley’s wife shortly after midnight, January 1, 2017.
The scuffle was quickly ended. Todd Haley was not involved nor injured.
Todd and Christine Haley were escorted out.
No injuries. No charges.
