Report: Toronto signing Chilean D Benjamin Kuscevic

Mandatory Credit: Simon Fearn-Imagn Images Toronto FC are finalizing a deal to acquire defender Benjamin Kucsevic from Brazilian side Fortaleza, The Athletic reported Tuesday.
The deal for the 29-year-old Chilean center back is a loan with a purchase option, per the report.
Kucsevic played for Brazilian clubs Palmeiras (2020-23) and Coritiba (2023-24) before originally going to Fortaleza on loan in 2024.
Internationally, he has earned 14 caps with Chile's national team.
