Photo credit: Andrew Weber/ [object Object] Two Western Michigan University football players were arrested early this morning after allegedly holding up and robbing a fellow student, reports Kalamazoo’s CBS affiliate.
Bryson White, a wide receiver, and Ron George, a linebacker, allegedly entered a dorm room in Draper Hall on the WMU campus, holding up a female student with a gun and a knife and robbing her. They were arrested on campus in a car with money and weapons.
Western Michigan head football coach PJ Fleck suspended the players indefinitely.
Update (12:39 P.M ET): The original reports of the incident stated that it happened in a dormitory on campus, but according to WMU the alleged robbery actually occurred off-campus. A search warrant was executed in Draper Hall, where one of the football players lives.
