Reports: 49ers' Deommodore Lenoir lands 5-year, $92M extension

Cornerback Deommodore Lenoir and the San Francisco 49ers agreed to a five-year, $92 million extension, multiple media outlets reported Tuesday night.
The deal keeps Lenoir in the Bay Area through the 2029 season. He will make about $18.4 million per year, making him the 12th-highest paid cornerback in the league.
Lenoir, who turned 25 just over a month ago, has become a leader for the San Francisco defense, collecting two interceptions, 53 tackles, six pass defenses and one forced fumble in nine games (all starts) this season.
The 49ers selected Lenoir in the fifth round of the 2021 draft out of Oregon.
In 56 career games (41 starts), Lenoir has six picks, 233 tackles, 23 passes defended, one sack and a forced fumble. He is in his fourth NFL season.
