Reports: Angels acquire Ps Andrew Chafin, Luis Garcia from Nats

Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-Imagn Images The Los Angeles Angels bolstered their bullpen on Wednesday by acquiring left-hander Andrew Chafin and right-hander Luis Garcia from the Washington Nationals, multiple media outlets reported.
Left-hander Jake Eder and fellow minor leaguer Sam Brown, a first baseman and outfielder, reportedly are heading to the Nationals in the trade.
Chafin, 35, is 1-1 with a 2.70 ERA in 26 relief appearances this season. He is 22-28 with 20 saves and a 3.39 ERA in 627 career appearances (three starts) with seven teams.
Garcia, 38, is 2-0 with a 4.10 ERA in 38 relief appearances this season split between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Nationals. He is 28-28 with 15 saves and a 4.14 ERA in 583 career appearances (four starts) with eight teams.
Eder, 26, is 2-7 with a 6.11 ERA in 13 appearances (all starts) this season with Triple-A Salt Lake.
Brown, 23, is batting .244 with five homers and 40 RBIs in 92 games with Double-A Rocket City.
