Reports: Rams WR Stedman Bailey Shot In The Head (UPDATES)
St. Louis Rams wide receiver Stedman Bailey was shot in the head tonight in South Florida while in a car with his family, according to a report from Mike Silver of NFL.com and another from Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. The reports indicate that his injuries are non-life-threatening. Bailey is currently serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance policy.

Update (12:44 a.m.): Wilson is also now reporting that Bailey’s condition is non-life threatening.

Update (1:31 a.m.): The Rams have released a short statement:
“We are aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident this evening. We have spoken with Stedman and he is in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition. We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more.”
