Mandatory Credit: Mark Konezny-Imagn Images Veteran free agent wide receiver Amari Cooper is signing a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to multiple media reports Monday.
Cooper, 31, is returning to the organization that made him the fourth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Cooper played for the Oakland Raiders from 2015 to 2018, before being traded to Dallas during the 2018 season. He was traded two more times (to Cleveland and then Buffalo) before becoming a free agent following the 2024 season.
He had 44 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns last season in 14 games with the Browns and Bills. All three categories were a career low for Cooper.
The five-time Pro Bowler enters the Raiders organization just hours after the team received a trade request from fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers.
Meyers is entering the final year of his contract and has reportedly been trying to renegotiate his deal with the club.
